Air Traffic Control

December 2006

This month The Design Conspiracy can’t show you anything.

For a while now we’ve been working with Sainsbury’s on a project called Air Traffic Control. Sainsbury's approached us with a room and tasked us with filling it with something that meant they could see every initiative in every store all across the country. That’s over 500 stores. Whether it’s Pancake Day, World Cup, half price lettuce week or bring your kids to work day.

Our solution involves three six foot perforated metal panels with metal slots that slip in depending on the date and initiative.

It looks fantastic and we really want to show it to you, but understandably Sainsburys don’t want us showing you details of their forthcoming promotions. So to compromise we’ve got some pictures that show off how great it looks whilst keeping trade secrets, secret. It’s all part of The Conspiracy.
