Restaurant Rebrand

This month The Design Conspiracy have been in their Element.

Shell asked us to rebrand the restaurant at their Waterloo HQ. The restaurant serves around 2,000 people everyday. They needed a complete identity, signage, wall and pillar graphics together with supporting print materials to liven the place up.

The result is an innovative identity system where four different logotypes are used together, using photographic images of earth, fire, air and water.

As one of the UK's largest companies, Shell takes an active role in protecting the environment (for example, every piece of print we produced had to meet strict recycling guidelines) and this inspired the 'Elements' identity. Unusually for a staff restaurant no food images were used, different scenes from the four elements are used as wall and pillar graphics.
