TDC & Di Macdonald

October 2011

This month we've been back to school…again!

At the beginning of 2011our good friend Di Macdonald decided she'd like to teach photography to children in her spare time and asked if we'd like to get involved. Together we embarked on a mission to do this and thought it would be great to focus this learning around the Olympic games coming to London in 2012.

We contacted Earlham Primary, which is a stone's throw from the new Olympic park and asked if they'd like to take part. They said yes.

It's called 20x12 because 12 pupils were selected to take part and they will produce a portfolio of 20 photographs from now until next summer. We're arranging photo shoots with aspiring Olympians and those that are making the games happen as well as the venues. We've already been to Wembley.

The project is completely not-for-profit and we could do with some help to fund it and also help linking up with athletes and Olympics officials. If you'd like to help, contribute or indeed find out more, please visit the site.
